//01.5About Me

I am
Taylor Young.

Age 13 | Basketball Player | Class of 2032

My name. My game. My journey.

My name is Taylor Young. I'm 13 years old, and basketball has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I grew up watching my dad, Thaddeus Young, play in the NBA. For 17 years, he got to compete against some of the best basketball players in the world. I got to see things most kids only dream about, from NBA games and locker rooms to watching how hard players work behind the scenes.

Being around basketball my whole life has taught me a lot, but the biggest thing I've learned is that you have to put in the work if you want to be good at something.

Right now, I play for Dynamic Prep Middle School, Savage Mode in the Next Era Basketball League, and Team Thad EYBL.

I love competing, playing with my teammates, learning new things, and getting better every time I step on the court. I know I'm still young and have a lot to learn, but that's what makes the journey exciting.

I'm proud of my dad and everything he's accomplished. He's someone I look up to, but I also want people to get to know me for who I am and what I can do.

I don't want to be known just as Thaddeus Young's son. I want to make a name for myself, too.

I'm only 13, and my basketball story is just getting started. There are going to be good games, bad games, wins, losses, and plenty of lessons along the way.

My goal is to keep working, keep learning, have fun playing the game I love, and see how far basketball can take me.

This website is where I'll share my highlights, my games, my teammates, and the memories I make along the way.

I'm Taylor Young.

I'm not trying to be the next Thaddeus Young. I'm working to become the first Taylor Young.

The journey is just beginning.
